I had an awesome time mixing this weekend @ Fahrenheit in San Jose & The Cafe in SF. Both crowds showed a lot of love and the energy was crazy! These 2 venues are some of my favorite places to spin because not only are they great spots, but everyone involved is all about making the night dope!

I’m lovin every second of it and I appreciate every single person that came out! And remember, every monday night I’ll be mixing @ The Cafe for “Gettin’ IT”. If you haven’t been to the Cafe yet, you gotta come thru, they just remodeled the venue and the new layout of the club is spectacular- the bar, the dj booth, lighting, the deck- check it out, easily the best club in the Castro!

This past month was bananas. I just came back from North Carolina and BAM! Work was definitely put in this month upon my return. I got to be all over the place from the castro, to the haight, downtown, college bound, and back again! Much love to THE CAFE ON CASTRO, NICKIES ON HAIGHT, SAN FRANCISCO STATE, THE BUBBLE LOUNGE, AND CLUB SIX for being awesome venues and hosts to the memorable & dope events!
I also want to give much respect to C U Next Weekend, Lady Nerd, Chill Will and Amon for tearing down the house @ Club Six for Let’s Blaze! It was an amazing night in San Francisco for music all thanks to Leland Productions for putting together such an amazing group of talent under one room!! Check them out at http://lelandevents.com/

HELLO MY PEOPLES!!! Very exciting stuff happened this weekend! I’m back from mixing in Palm Beach, Florida and I loved it! It does feel good to be back in the bay tho, new projects are on the rise, my Pro Tools is officially up and running and I can’t wait to see what develops!!
the BACKSPIN, the official weekend wrap up-
On Thursday, I mixed at the Bamboo Hut on Broadway in SF. The set was off the wall, I played some B-more classics, Soul Seekerz remix of the Ting Tings “That’s Not My Name,” new hip hop from Redman & Method Man “Miss International,” and classic hip hop like Wu-Tang Clans “Shame On a Nigga” just to name a few. Broadway was definitely in full effect.
Friday night, I played along side Chris Clouse at Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge in Downtown San Jose. Check out his website- www.chrisclouse.com. I scratched to his set, adding Jeanine Da Feen flavor to his energetic guitar riffs and vocals. Then I got back on the turntables and pulled out the heat, Fahrenheit was doin it that night for sure!
… and now for some DRUM AND BASS…
If you haven’t heard it yet, I made a Drum and Bass mix called “Instant Gratifikation”. If you love Drum and Bass or if you want to see what it’s all about, you gotta download this mix! Here’s the link:

Damn. Michael Jackson. Amazing.
I remember watching MTV with my handheld microcassette recorder, and when his music video “Scream” with Janet Jackson came on, I would press record so I could always have the excitement in hand and play it when i wanted to jump around.
Come to think of it, I jumped around a lot to the music i liked growing up. I couldn’t contain myself.
Any way, I also remember being really young and my mama brought home the collection of Michael jackson videos, i think “Remember The Time” was the latest video on the VHS. ”Thriller” made an impact on me and so did “Just Leave Me Alone”, “Bad” and “Billie Jean”. The music was excellent, the dancing was art and the videos where cinema.
I think everybody has had a special moment with a Michael Jackson song. He brings everyone together in that way. Remember how he was always trying to spread peace and unite? He was doing that with his music this whole time.
There’s only a handful of artists that can give you the chills. Michael Jackson was the shit.
